Students MUST present valid TCNJ ID at the desk and sign in with their name and PAWS ID number, and members must present PEC membership card and sign in. For the safey of our students and members NO ONE will be able to access the PEC without ID.

If you are looking for a great facility to work out at, please fill out the Physical Enhancement Center Membership Form and hand it in to the front desk at the PEC.

Reservations of Cardio Equipment

For the convenience of our students and members, 30-minute reservations are required for the treadmills and elliptical machines. Please either make a reservation at the front desk or by phone (x2014). Give the time, type of machine (treadmill or elliptical), and your first name. Reservations are not required for stationary bikes or steppers. If you are not on your machine after 10 minutes, the reservation is lost and the machine becomes free to use.

About the Physical Enhancement Center

Our 3,420 square foot facility houses resistance training and cardiovascular equipment from leading manufacturers such as Cybex, Life Fitness, Stairmaster, Paramount and Precor. Equipment includes treadmills, stationary bikes, and steppers for different cardio exercises. The center also has a large variety of dumbells, barbells, and weighted plates, along with various benches and equipments for many types of free weight lifting. In addition to the machines and free weights, the PEC has a adjoining padded room, perfect for abdominal workouts, stretching, and free weight exercises. Come by the Physical Enhancement Center for all of your lifting needs and a goal for a healthier tomorrow.

Free Weights:

Our free weight and dumbbell area includes a full range of completely rubber encased Ivanko dumbbells (5 to 120 lbs.) and rubberized plates from 2.5 to 45 lbs.

Cardiovascular Equipment:

We provide a full range of cardiovascular equipment, including elliptical trainers, treadmills, steppers, and upright and recumbent bikes.

Resistance Training Equipment:

The resistance training equipment offers a full body cicuit, auxiliary machines such as inner and outer thigh, a counterbalanced smith machine and an adjustable column cable crossover.
