Communication Initiatives - Library
Regular communication currently takes place between the Dean and the Director for User Support Services. There is also regular communication between the IT support specialist and the Library's IT liaison for identifying issues, communicating any problems or changes, and problem solving.
Different groups of individuals within both departments will meet on a regular basis.
The dean will continue to meet monthly with the Director for User Support Services. In addition to this, a group of library and IT staff will meet to discuss concerns, outstanding issues and upcoming initiatives. The support specialist, the AD for USS, the Assistant Dean for Public Services, the Assistant Dean for Technical Services, and the Systems Librarian will meet on a monthly basis to discuss the above topics. If there are on-going technical issues in the library, the AD for USS will inform the Director of IT.
