Communication Plan - School of Art, Media and Music
AY 2006-2007
Regular communication currently takes place between the Dean and the Director for User Support Services. There is also regular communication between the IT support specialist and the faculty for identifying issues, communicating any problems or changes, and problem solving.
IT will meet with specific faculty to address individual needs
The AD for USS and the support specialist for the School of Art, Media and Music will meet with specific faculty as needed to address new initiatives and future plans to insure that technical needs are being met.
Fall 2006 Update
At the request of the Dean, the Director of IT will meet with groups of faculty members to discuss plans for the new building. The dean will arrange these meetings.
IT will evaluate adding card swipe access to Holman 439 lab
IT will evaluate this to see if it is feasible to install a card swipe system. Considerations will include security of both the lab and the adjacent spaces.
Fall 2006 Update
On hold due to a proposal to revise the current layout of Macintosh computers on campus.
Status of Governor’s School for the Arts program at TCNJ
IT will followup with the Dean of the School of Art, Media and Music in January 2007 regarding the status of Governor’s School computer equipment.

Full time personnel are currently using the equipment and the status of Governor's school can be found at Governor's School
Two initiatives from 2005-2006 communication plan have been assigned to the Information Technology Planning Council (ITPC) for review. These include:
- develop a model for new initiatives and expand academic computing support
- develop a plan for incorporating grants into the curriculum
