Last Revised: 11/16/04

Information Technology is responsible for on campus services to support microcomputer technologies standardized at The College of New Jersey. Home or off campus use of technologies either supported on campus or not, can not be fully supported by the staff in Information Technology.

Information Technology makes every effort to provide alternative options to assist the home or off campus user. Currently Information Technology maintains a web site with up to date, step by step instructions for many of the recommended applications suggested for home or off campus use. This information is available on the Information Technology home page at http://www.tcnj.edu/~it .

Information Technology accepts no responsibility for any problems encountered as a result of using the recommended or suggested applications off campus, at home or on personal computers.

Installation of software on home computers

Information Technology will not install and assumes no responsibility for the installation of any software installed on faculty, staff and student personally owned computers.  While some standard and supported software is available for lending from the college, Information Technology can not ensure or guarantee that the software will install properly on personally owned computers.
