Contribute Tutorial

Add Horizontal Rules

Horizontal rules are thin lines that are used to separate blocks of information from each other. Try not to use too many horizontal rules as they can make the page look cluttered. Usually a blank line is enough to separate different blocks of information, but occasionally a horizontal rule can be used.

To add a horizontal rule:

  1. Find the place you wish to place the horizontal rule.
  2. From the “Insert” menu above the Contribute Toolbar, select “Horizontal Rule”
  3. Click on “Publish” to finish editing the page.
