Japanese Honor Society, TCNJ chapter
TCNJ established a college chapter of the Japanese National Honor Society in Spring, 2008 and we welcomed our first inductees in a ceremony in May.
Congratulations to Brian Glaz, Sean Hickey, Tai Mishkin, Erica Smith, Kelly Tubridy, and Tom Winnicki.
To be eligible for this award students must maintain a 3.5GPA across five college-level Japanese courses.
Self-designed major in Japanese
It is now possible to petition for a self-designed major in Japanese language or Japanese language and culture. Interested students should contact Professor Didi-Ogren.
JPN101 COURSE CHANGE
Beginning Fall semester 2008, we will ONLY offer Japanese 101 (Beginning Japanese I) in the Fall semester. It will no longer be possible to take JPN101 in the spring semester.
(updated 11/08)
The next Bridging Scholarship applications for study abroad will be due at the Scholarship office by April 7, 2009.
NOT A TCNJ STUDENT, BUT INTERESTED IN STUDYING JAPANESE AT TCNJ?
If you are a non-TCNJ student interested in taking Japanese courses at TCNJ, you will need to complete a "non-matriculation" application, available on the Office of Admissions web page. Please note that this is ONLY for Fall or Spring semester courses. If you are interested in taking a summer course as a non-TCNJ student, please see Summer Programs.
