This is the Activities page, where we feature past, present, and future activities presented by our club. Details such as date, time, and location will be updated as events come.

Activities for the Fall Semester:

Origami Workshop- A few of our talented members will be showing how to make simple origami models. No experience necessary to attend!
This event took place on Wednesday, September 24, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the New-Res main lounge.

Banzai- Our big cultural event of the semester; activities will include origami, calligraphy, Japanese board games, and video games. Authentic Japanese food will be served.
This event took place during Experience Asia month, on November 21 at 7 p.m. in the Cromwell Main Lounge.

Drawing Workshop- A few of our talented members will be showing how to draw simple figures in a Japanese style.

Hibachi- Towards the end of the semester, the club goes on a trip to Banzai, a Hibachi restaurant in the area.
This event took place on December 8, 2008.

Activities for the Spring Semester:

SuDaKaRe- Our annual spring video game tournament! Compete against your friends in various video games. This event took place Saturday, March 28th in the BSC food court.

White Day AKA Secret White Guy- In celebration of the Japanese holiday, we will have our secret gift exchange. This event took place Wednesday, March 25th at our weekly meeting.

Globalpalooza- Japanese Club set up a table at Globalpalooza--an event which features cultures and foods from around the world. At our activity table, we had caligraphy and origami, as well as candy and Pocky to munch on. Over at the buffet, we provided guests with homemade onigiri (riceballs made with TLC ;D ).
