Great news straight from KD Convention in Washington DC! For the very first time, Zeta Theta chapter at The College of NJ has won one of the top national biennial awards for collegiate chapters - the Merit award – awarded to the very top 10% of all KD chapters across the country. There were only 12 Merit chapters named this year! A shiny silver nautilus shell platter was presented. There were cheers from all over the ballroom when the announcement was made. The ladies of Zeta Theta have been working towards this honor and are well deserving of it! The chapter was also recognized for their Girl Scout Day and outstanding New Member program. In addition to the chapter's delegate, Ann Miller was in attendance representing their CAB (and the Central NJ AA) and I was there as National Director of Member Education. It was great fun celebrating this achievement! Pass the good news along to other Zeta Theta KDs. We should all be proud that we laid such a solid foundation for this chapter throughout the last 14 years and that they've continued the pursuit of excellence!
