Points System

Points are earned by members when they make donations at meetings and participate in activities

There is nominimum number of points needed to become a member or remain a member

Once a memberhas reached 25 points, he/she is eligible to receive a honor cord to be worn at graduation

Honor cords are given out during the yearly induction ceremony

Members are responsible for recording the activities and meetings they attend so that at the end of the semester, points can be tallied through SOCS

Point totals:
25 points to earn honor cord
12 points to earn honor cord for seniors inducted in Spring 2011

Earning points:
*1 point for every hour you volunteer with KDP
*1 point for every $50 you raise for any of our fundraisers *1 point for bringing items to donate to the different drives held at each meeting *1 point per semester for being on a committee *3 points for global student teaching half a semester *5 points for studying abroad (NOT TEACHING)
