Who are you?

Who am I?

I was lost, the last place I would want to be, On a dismal, disserted road such as this. To be found, would mean the world to me, Purpose to be discovered, life as is. I was trapped, the only place I’d ever seen, In a grey abyss, all colors and one too many Looking for answers, from here and where I’ve been, Just beyond the past, places where eyes don’t see. I was seeking, though nothing at all was lost, Through thousands of truths, not a secret to be found. What would all these minutes cost, If only searching could turn time around. The truth must be this, what is only known to God For us it is our lives, what we see and hear and smell. Such is life, what can’t be seen is not, And thoughts of what we know are well.
