Inside Out:  Gay and Lesbian Studies

Course Description

How do novelists, poets, historians, teachers, biologists, lawyers, and movie directors address gay and lesbian identity, culture, and politics? What limitations do we bring to our examinations of this experience, and how can we become more sophisticated readers of culture? We read broadly from several disciplines, reflecting on popular culture as we investigate a variety of scholarly texts.
