About the Library Catalog

The online catalog has a record for each of the items that the Library owns. These include:

• Print and electronic books

• Magazine, journal and newspaper titles

• Electronic government documents

• Audiocassettes

• Music and spoken word CDs

• DVDs

• Videotapes

• Music scores

• Computer files

Note: You can't search for individual articles in the catalog. You'll learn how to search for them by using a research database described in the next module.
