Research Database Skills That Travel!

Remember: To select a research database, use the Articles tab on the Library's website. Then choose a relevant subject area.

For example, if you need business articles, go to the Business subject category and select from the list of research database titles. Similarly, for science information, look on the subject list under Science.

Now you know how to search Academic Source Premier. What about other research databases? Won't they look different?

Yes. But once you've learned the basics, it will be like driving a car you've borrowed from a friend. You know that there's a switch to turn on the lights or the radio - you just need to locate the controls. Even though they may look different, many research databases have similar features. Check for Help screens or ask a librarian.
