  • understand the organization of the Internet

  • identify the major types of websites

  • use search engines, metasearch engines and subject directories to search the Web

  • use special tricks to improve your search results

  • interpret and evaluate web search engine results.

  • You can take the (non-graded) practice quiz to check what you have learned from Module 5
  • If you are enrolled in IDS 102, you can move onto the Module 5 assessment within SOCS
  • You can continue to Module 6, by clicking on the Next button below
