Extended Study Area

 

Some portions of the Library building are available for students to use after the Library itself closes. These areas include the Arcade Room and Café on the Main Level (Level 1) and both Library Instruction Labs on the Lower Level.  During the final exam period each semester, tables and chairs are set up in the Lower Lobby to provide additional study space.

 

After the Library closes, access to the Extended Study Area is through the south entry door of the building. A valid TCNJ ID card is required to operate the door.

 

The Extended Study Area is typically open until 2:00 AM while fall or spring classes are in regular session; during the final exam periods the area is open for 24 hours per day, every day. At other times the Extended Study Area is closed whenever the Library is closed. See Library Hours for details.

 

A student manager is on duty in the Extended Study Area until 2am. When that area is open later, a regular College staff member is on duty.
