This definitive encyclopedia includes 30,000 entries on popular music from 1900 to the present. Jazz, country, folk, rap, reggae, techno, musicals, and world music are all covered, as well as trends, styles, venues, biographies, discographies, album ratings, suggestions for further reading and so forth.
