Covers CAplus databases from 1907 to present. Point-and-click interface facilitates searching chemical literature and patents. The database also provides access to key journals in the sciences and engineering. Apart from coverage in all areas of chemistry and chemical engineering, it includes chemical aspects in Agricultural Sciences, Biology and Life Sciences, Engineering, Food Sciences, Geological Sciences, Material Sciences, Medical Sciences, Physics and Polymer Sciences.
Access
- Authorized (Faculty, Administrative Staff, Registered Student) TCNJ users only. The number of concurrent users is restricted to one user.
- Available for users on the TCNJ campus. Connect to the application through Application Explorer applications. Go to the Application Explorer Folder on your desktop, click on TCNJ, go to the Library Applications Folder and click on SciFinder 2006 to start the application. If the Application Explorer Folder is not available on the desktop, connect to it by clicking on the Start button on the lower left corner of your screen. See a Reference Librarian if you need further assistance. Note: Application Explorer Databases are not accessible from off-campus.
Our licensing agreements require that off campus access to most of these electronic resources be limited to students, faculty and staff of The College of New Jersey. However, all resources are available from within the library.
