General Information
This is a guide to resources
on tests and measures used in psychology, education, the health sciences,
and other areas. It may be used to locate information about tests
such as critical reviews, psychometric properties, target populations,
norms, availability, etc. In some cases, the resource includes copies
of the instruments.
Reference sources listed under
Test Reviews and Bibliographies will vary in the information provided,
but none include actual measures. The tools described in this part
of the guide provide information on Published
Tests , Unpublished
Tests , or a combination of Both
Published and Unpublished Tests . "Published tests" are commercially
available for purchase from a publisher. "Unpublished tests" are instruments
that are not commerically available and are usually referred to in
journal articles, dissertations, reports, etc. These are often made
available by contacting the author.
The next section, Compendiums that Include a Copy of the Measure lists those sources that provide a copy of the actual instrument, in addition to descriptive information. Please read carefully any guidelines and/or restrictions on the use of the measure. Finally, the last section, Internet Resources provides links to a variety of test and measurement sources located on the World Wide Web.
