Annual Reports 

• Mergent Online - Search by company name or ticker, then select Annual Reports from results list.  For certain companies, reports are available for the past six years.
• Report Gallery - Links to annual reports worldwide.
• CAROL World - Company Annual Reports On-Line. Annual reports and other investor information. A UK-based source, with strong international coverage. 

Spreadsheet Financials

• Mergent Online - Retrieve up to 15 years (or 15 quarters) of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements -- in MS Excel format.  Also find ratios and other financial data.  Create reports for peer-group company analyses; or comparisons of companies to industries. Choose EDGAR Search to search for words / phrases within SEC filings.

SEC Filings and Financials

• Edgar - SEC official site starting in 1994; does not include image annual reports.
• Free Edgar - Formatted from SEC filings starting in 1994. Registration required (free).
• PricewaterhouseCooper's EdgarScan - "An Intelligent Interface to the SEC EDGAR Database."
• 10K Wizard - Registration required (free student account available); provides real-time online access and full-text search of the EDGAR system.
• Mergent Online - Choose EDGAR Search to search for words / phrases within SEC filings.

Company Profiles

• Mergent Online - Corporate history, corporate structure (subsidiaries and location of facilities), details of capital stock and corporate debt.  Includes company and industry searching and country profiles; allows custom report-building and peer-group analysis.
• MarketLine Business Information Centre (formerly Datamonitor) - Uses primary and secondary sources to create current profiles of more than 10,000 companies (including SWOT analyses for 500 companies). Also features more than 3,500 industry profiles, and country profiles for 50 countries.
• Hoover's Online - Company Capsule
• Zacks.com - Company Profile or Company Report

• Hoover's Online - Company Capsule includes limited financials.

• Yahoo Financial - U.S. daily, weekly and monthly, from 1962.
• Big Charts - 1989 to date, look up one date at a time for one stock.
• Zacks.com - Company Quote
• Dow Jones Industrial Averages - From 1896 to date; also lists component companies for each date.
• S & P Stocks Historical Data - Look up an industry stock by name or industry sector.
• Quote.com - From Lycos.
• Mergent Online - For a detailed history of a company's authorized and outstanding shares, search for the company (by name or ticker), then select Capital Stock from the menu.
