Lions’ EMS General Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, September 19, 2007
Stephen J. Vetrano
Stephen J. Vetrano has offered to be our medical director. The school must clear his addition before he joins Lions’ EMS. His assistance can perhaps lead to our use of the EpiPen.
Chief/President (George A.)
1) Polo shirts will be ordered the beginning of October.
2) George and Amit are working on a letter to the VP of Student Affairs to introduce the organization.
3) It is the responsibility of the Crew Chiefs to review orientation material with new members. New members must be ‘oriented’ before they are added to a crew.
4) Our call reports are currently illegitimate. We are in the process of getting new ones so that the squad assuming patient care can sign. In the meantime, have the unit assuming patient care sign at the bottom of the call report.
5) We have put in for a Capital Equipment Request for “Mass Casualty Equipment” (oxygen tanks)
6) Do not schedule your own TB tests. At the end of November and beginning of December Health Services will be holding a clinic.
7) Do not ask for your immunization records from Health Services. Lions’ EMS will go directly to health services for that information.
Deputy Chief (Tom Pagnotta)
1) See Tom if you need a Duty Request Form.
2) If you have a problem/schedule conflict with your current crew, contact Tom and he will do his best to accommodate you.
