Lions’ EMS Executive Board Minutes

Chief/President- George

1) Our accounts have been frozen, which has put a hold on our 3 oxygen tanks and 6 radios ordered.

2) Once polo shirts arrive, they will be the standard uniform for duty nights.

T-shirts will be allowed during Stand-bys.

Any line officer that would like to order a white shirt should contact George.

3) A new member (Jordan) has offered to look into our radio situation. He will talk to George about organizing some type of inter-agency communication.

4) George and Amit will contact Jim Naftley to discuss/introduce the organization.

5) It is the Crew Chief’s duty to remind his/her crew when they are on call.

6) Committee heads should write a report by the end of this month discussing the work done by the committee.

7) Intoxication is enough “mechanism of injury” to force someone to go to the hospital. Do not offer an RMA if the patient is not able to sign one. However, if an RMA is signed, leave the scene immediately.

8) Be sure to have the incoming crew sign the call report at the bottom.

Training- Mark

1)      ICS 200 (12 credits) will be offered. You can take ICS 100 online.

2)      CPR/FA classes will begin this weekend.

Treasurer- Danielle

If you need money to purchase something, give her quotes ASAP so that she can determine if you can be funded.
