Lions’ EMS Minutes
Wednesday, October 17, 2007
Chief (George)
- Jim Norfleet meeting was cancelled. It will be rescheduled.
- George and others attended dinner with President Gitenstein to discuss EMS and some of our issues with other organizations. She directed us to speak with other people specific to the issue.
- The Epipen Contract is being addressed They request that we have sixteen Epipens to distribute amongst the bags. This is more than we are capable of obtaining, so George will try to allow us to carry fewer.
- We are not eligible to carry a School Mass Casualty Bag because of the level of care that we provide. But Holly is eligible; maybe we can unofficially use it if necessary.
- It is imperative that everyone be properly dressed when on duty.
o You must wear jeans or navy colored khaki pants with the EMS top. You must wear EMS boots or sneakers. Open-toes shoes are not acceptable.
Deputy Chief (Tom)
