Minutes:

Kevin Mnich (Chief/President)

• Meeting was called to order at 3:35PM
• Any members that do not have LEMS photo IDs from last year were asked to sign up so they will have IDs made to have when they are on call
• Call statistics have been complied for first month (from August 15 to September 15), which were discussed and will be sent to all members via email
• Article was handed out (≥EMS Scope of Practice About to Expand≤) outlining changes that are being made for all EMTs nationwide in the near future
• All CPR cards are in from the last certification class which members can pick up from Kevin

Caroline Vizthum (Deputy Chief)

· Was unable to attend meeting, but any questions for Caroline can be emailed to her at vizthum2@tcnj.edu

Kristin Caruso (Training/Personnel Captain)

· The Documentation CEU class took place last Friday which was a success, in which 19 members attended, and the CEUs for this class along with the classes from last year should be credited soon to all members that attended

· All members should make sure that all their forms for LEMS are completely filled out and updated

· Members must also give copies of certifications to Kristin as soon as possible, if they have not already, so they can be added to each memberπs file

· Any members who were not able to come to the orientation drill (the meeting that took place on Sept. 29^th) should contact Kristin (caruso4@tcnj.edu) so another time can be organized for them to have the orientation

Aedin Fortune (Equipment Officer & Executive Vice President)

· All LEMS radios still need to be accounted for so any members who have one should contact Aedin (fortune3@tcnj.edu)

· There is now a pediatric bag that is carried by Campus Police so all members should be aware of the fact that there is pediatric equipment that they can use if there are any children at a call

· Nonrebreathers are in low supply at the moment but more will be ordered soon

· Members should make sure that the bags are restocked if any equipment is used during a call

· Members should make sure that they wear a LEMS shirt (or at least a dark t-shirt) with jeans and sneakers when on call

· If any members have not signed up for a committee yet, please make sure that you at least sign up for one, if possible (especially the Social/Dining committee and Growth committee need more members)

Charlie Concodora (Logistics Officer)

• Was unable to attend

Chuck Rouse (VP of Member Services)

• Plans have been made to hold a rock climbing social event for all LEMS in Hamilton, NJ that may be free for all members if funding can be obtained; otherwise it will cost $20
• All members who are interested in attending should contact Chuck (rouse2@tcnj.edu)

Ricky Blasi (Treasurer)

• Two radios and chargers have been ordered
• Also more equipment has been ordered for the LEMS closet

Nimit Saraiya (Secretary)

• Nothing to report

Bruce Cheong (Publicity Chair/Webmaster)

· Held a meeting at the end of the meeting with his Publicity committee

Doug Smith (Fundraising Chair)

· Held a meeting at the end of the meeting with his Fundraising committee

Ray Shupak (Growth Chair)

· Held a meeting at the end of the meeting with his Growth committee
