Minutes:

Kevin Mnich (Chief/President)

·         Welcomed all members to the meeting and congratulated everyone for responding so well to calls all semester long

·         All members should remember that you are allowed into any residential building in the night for emergency calls but you are not allowed to remain in the building afterwards unless you are signed in by a resident of the building (because once a call is over, we are all just regular students on campus)

·         Gave a summary of the call statistics report for the previous month and gifts were given out to the top 10 responders

·         East Windsor EMS has generously donated numerous pieces of equipment to LEMS, including 40 - 50 uniforms which will be ready to be used by our members for stand-bys and other events next semester

·         For guaranteed housing spots on campus next year, we will most likely be getting 16 spots (much greater than the 8 spots that we usually were given in previous years), which will be of great benefit to all the current active sophomore and junior members of LEMS

Caroline Vizthum (Deputy Chief)

·         As is already noted on the duty schedule, we will be on call during Finals week (which will just follow the usual rotating schedule that has been utilized all semester)

·         All active members were asked to fill out a form for their preference for duty nights for next semester so that a new duty schedule can be designed for the Spring (any members who did not fill a form out should email Caroline at vizthum2@tcnj.edu with their nights of preference)

  • The money for the LEMS sweatshirts ($25 for each) will be collected by Ricky until Friday of this week (December 10th), after which the order will be made and no more orders will be taken
