Minutes:

Kevin Mnich (Chief/President)

· Announced that elections for next year’s LEMS Line and Executive Board officers will be conducted today

· Call Statistics

· Reported that last month’s call statistics show that LEMS responded to 54 calls

· Thanked all member who are running shifts for their continued dedication

Caroline Vizthum (Deputy Chief)

· Stated that there are a number of on-campus sports stand-bys coming up during the next few weeks (which will generally take place during Saturday afternoons), so anyone that is interested should please contact the LEMS account for more information (email lionsems@tcnj.edu)

Kristin Caruso (Training/Personnel Captain)

· Requested that all members who have signed up for the Core 13 CEU (taking place this weekend) should please attend and also remember to email their information to caruso4@tcnj.edu as soon as possible, if they have not done so already

Aedin Fortune (Equipment Officer & Executive Vice President)

· Reported that the missing clipboards from the equipment bags have been found

Charlie Concodora (Logistics Officer)

· Currently working on having the patches sewn on to the new uniforms

Carolyn Botros (Vice President for Member Services and Special Events)

• The End-of-the-Year LEMS Banquet

· Plans are to hold the banquet on the second to last Friday of the semester

· Sent around a sign-up sheet to determine how many members will be interested in attending

· At the moment, KatManDu is being considered for the location of the banquet

Ricky Blasi (Treasurer)

• Deposited $1000 last week into the LEMS account collected from the latest CPR class, thus currently there is a total of $2424 in the LEMS fundraising account
• Since not enough members have signed up for LEMS sweatshirts (a minimum of 15 was necessary for an order to be made), the plan is to wait until next year to place another order

Ray Shupak (Growth Chair)

· Working on obtaining priority registration for LEMS members

Doug Smith (Fundraising Chair)

· Has found that The Loop fundraiser fills up relatively quickly and so advised that the new Fundraising Chair should look into it for next year as early as possible

Bruce Cheong (Publicity Chair/Webmaster)

· Thanked all the nominees for sending in their speeches as requested, using the online form

Holly Heller (LEMS Advisor)

· Notified that there is currently $768 in the LEMS Administrative budget, so the organization should worked towards utilizing that money because otherwise it will be lost at the end of the semester

Francesca Khani (LEMS member)

· Stated that there will be a basic CPR class held on March 26 from 1 - 4PM in the Brower Student Center that will be run by the TCNJ organization AMSA, which will be open to all LEMS members and cost $20 for certification (for more information please email amsa@tcnj.edu)

NEW BUSINESS

Kevin Mnich (Chief/President)

· Explained that the reason to have elections early in the year is to allow the new officers to have some time to “shadow” the current officers and fully learn the duties of their acquired positions

Caroline Vizthum (Deputy Chief)

· Explained the general voting procedure to the membership

· Asked for a motion to close nominations for all Line and Executive Board positions, which was then motioned and seconded

· Asked for a motion to open elections for next year’s Line and Executive Board, which was motioned and seconded

Elections were held for all the Line and Executive Board officer positions for the TCNJ academic year 2005-2006, lead by Caroline Vizthum (Deputy Chief):
