Doug (Chief)

-Need volunteers for senior week; signup sheet is passed around.

-Pay will be $150

-Go on rove with Cas

-Get to stay in housing and move into towers on Monday

-EMTs preferred but first aiders will be considered if enough EMTs are signed up.

-Also would like senior week volunteers to work graduation.

-Need $200 for new crew chief bag because it is broken.

-Will order pants soon – the full order would be $1100.

-Want new bags, they are $300 each.

Bruce (Deputy Chief)

-Sign up for standbys – crew chiefs needed.

-New people will be going on the schedule soon.

Kevin (Training)

-Information on albuterol is being passed around.

-EMTs are not currently able to administer but may be able to in future.

-Need to understand side effects that affect patients who are taking it.

-CPR procedure will be changing – 30 compressions to 1 breath, and AED shock series will be changed soon too. Instructor information will be changed soon too.

-First aid and CPR classes will be planned for after spring break.

-April 1, basic trauma life support for EMTs.

-Spring day is April 2, want a visible crew/presence on that day.

-Signups are coming.

Interest for EMT school

-Need 20 people or so to have a Lions EMS only class, sponsored by Capital health for Lions EMS.

-anyone who is interested in attending in the fall, should email Kevin.

-need a guaranteed number of people to hold the class
