-Coordinating with the weekend crew to get this done

Holly Heller (Advisor)

-Total cost $222 to do this

-The old pads can be used for training

SOP meeting with Sean Stallings

-We should try to go ahead and continue this somehow

Intoxication call checklist

            -Feed back?

Standbys

-We have had some improvement in member participation

-We need to pick how many standbys we are going to require people to have

-We are filling out call sheets or using our standby sheet for standbys

-For liability reasons there must be some paperwork filled out for every standby to show that we were present.

Scott Sferra (Advisor)

Regina will present the training courses coming up soon.

Brian Webb (Advisor)

Sgt Bell can’t make the meetings at 3.30 – can we move the advisor meetings to 3pm?

-We need to check on our room reservations

Do we have any questions/concerns, anything regarding campus police?

-Concern over a call this week where the patient was not comfortable talking to LEMS with campus police present.  Campus police initially seemed unwilling to move back from the scene.  After evaluation, LEMS did not believe the patient needed to be transported, and was competent enough to sign an RMA.  However, campus police ultimately forced her to go to the hospital.

            -Communications breakdown

-How do we deal with everyone’s liabilities (LEMS, Campus PD, ResLife)

-Caused concern for LEMS personnel on scene who felt as if Campus PD were ignoring the evaluation of LEMS.

-Complaints and concerns regarding campus police should be addressed to Lt. Rizzo, who is the Internal Affairs Officer

-Campus PD doesn’t have to leave a scene – backing off is only a professional courtesy.

-Issue also raised with using names over dispatch.

George Apostolopoulos (Deputy Chief)

After unanimous request/approval by members present at meeting, a revision of the SOPs will be undertaken.

Contacted Bruce – he has the money from the Spring standbys

-Still working on getting the money to us

-Need to see if there’s a better way to get our standby money than having checks sent to the deputy chief.

-Advisors will help us look into this.

Regina Cummings (Training)

We had eight people at the first aid class this past week.

First Aid and CPR cards are on the way.

            -Email reminder will go out

Core 13 will be held the first week of December

We have people with expired CPR currently on crews

-They can no longer respond until they have updated CPR, for legal reasons

-Emails will go out to let people know

-Board will approve the email before it is sent

The next CPR class we will try to offer to nursing students

            -Norma Brown, nursing coordinator

-This will not be a fundraiser as we no longer have our own instructor, we are offering it to the nurses out of courtesy.
