Health services closes at 6pm now – make sure you pick up the equipment before this time.
Elections will be later in the semester, around April. Start thinking about what you might like to do next year, or who you might like to nominate for a position.
There will be a link to the childbirth in the field CEU class by email. Sign up if you would like to go, and see Nicole so we can coordinate rides. The class is this coming Monday.
We are going to start carrying the AED now it works. The responsible person is the third crew member – either the first aider or the EMT who doesn’t have an orange bag. On Friday nights, this person must turn on the AED to test that it works, and then email the lionsems@tcnj.edu account.

The schedule has been made, however there are too many people for the spaces that are left, so please be patient if you have turned in a duty request form and are not on a crew yet.
There are no standbys scheduled yet.
The EMT course has begun. We have signed out uniforms to the people who are attending.
There will be 6 CPR classes this spring, some in conjunction with the nursing department. The dates of the classes are:
The cost will be $65 for a two year AHA certification.
Make sure all the copies of your certifications are handed in.

The TB clinic for anyone who hasn’t had a test in the past
year is next Monday, January 29th from 3.30-5pm in Eickhoff
138. It is FREE to LEMS members, as long
as you tell them you are with Lions’
New members need to provide proof of:
2 MMR vaccines
3 Hepatitis B vaccines
1 tetanus in the past 10 years
1 mantoux (ppd) test within this year
Stop by health services, give the secretary your name and phone number and ask them to pull your medical records. Holly will review them for you and give you your clearance to ride with LEMS if everything is ok.

The position of equipment captain has been open this year. Now we have new crew chiefs, we can have elections for the open position.
