Nicole Gerber (Chief)

 

What are we going to do with the patches?

            For the jackets, then for the membership and for patch trading with home squads

                        Jim will take care of the patch trade

                        Invitation to participate in the patch trade by email to the membership

 

Wellness expo

            A few more volunteers needed – reminder by email

 

We need to find out how many people we will be taking to the George Carlin standby

            Jessica will talk to Tim Asher to find out

Jessica and George will switch buddies – George will be on Sunday with Andres and Jessica will take Wednesday with Mark.

 

There have been more schedule changes

 

The radio reprogramming is not going well – need advice from Kevin to get it finished.

 

The officer on call schedule is in place now too.

 

 

Jay Preciado (Exec VP)

 

Jackets are in the process of being ordered

            The total came to $814.20

            They will be here the second week of March

 

Sweatshirts will be $18

            Members who want one need to email Jay and bring money to the next meeting

            Next Thursday at 1pm is the deadline for ordering

 

Extra t-shirts will be ordered for new members

 

 

Regina Cummings (Training)

 

Training fund forms are available for the documentation class tonight at Pennington Rd.

 

There are nursing students still looking for CPR

            We will probably do one or two more classes this semester

 

Still looking into defensive driving or CEVO for later this semester

 

 

Tom Pagnotta (Equipment)

 

The new radios have arrived – the payment for them is in progress.

 

Supplies being ordered soon –we are using Common Sense for most stuff because they are cheaper, but Moore medical for a few items where we want a higher quality product.

 

The new crew chief bag will be ready soon – we need to think about new suction and a new regulator to finish it up.

 

 

Mike Rossetti (Treasurer)

 

In the process of going over the budget

            We have $70 allocated for a signal ad

Discussion ensues about what to put in the ad – the publicity committee will work on this.

 

We need to work on using up the training money on the CPR instructor course soon – we can pre-pay for the spots in the course.

 

Need to come up with a list of standbys for the whole year.

 

 

 

Jim Garvey (VP MS/SE)

 

May 4, 2007 – Banquet date

Details to be worked out still include: having an end of the year report, chocolate fountain, favors, senior gifts, music, food, awards, recognition for our new EMTs, decorations. 

Email will go out with the minutes from the banquet committee meetings, inviting people to get involved.

 

APO is having a safety day with Ewing PD and Pennington Rd FD, and would like to get LEMS involved

For elementary school children, doing demonstrations to do with health and safety.

Six Flags fundraiser – we will schedule for a Saturday so that people can come to it

 

Coldstone Fundraiser – next Tuesday, February 27, 2007 – 7-10pm

Voting – 1 no, 1 abstain, 8 yes

 

Motion is carried – we will put together a poster to hang up by campus phones with information for people.

 

Discussion ensues about editing, images, etc. The publicity committee will work on this.

Draft of contract for our CPR instructors is available for people to read through/comment on.
