March 28 – nominations/April 11 – elections. We will move the time up to 3pm because these are long meetings.

Holly needs to be present at these meetings

Wellness Expo went really well

The goggles were a big hit and we should do them again

We raffled off an Ipod shuffle (Jess’ friend won!)

Holly Heller (Advisor)

People who are running for positions must have a 2.0 to be a crew chief and a 2.5 to be on the executive board. This is both in our SOPs and in accordance with the campus policy for student leaders.

The jackets have been paid for.

A W9 form needed to be faxed over, but the check will go out to them this week.

Scott Sferra (Advisor)

Jessica Paciorek (Secretary)

WEFAS wetdown is coming up in June…everyone is invited, I will send an email once I have details.

Radios haven’t been working – Campus PD cant hear us. The problem is probably on their end – will contact Sgt Bell to see what is going on.

Mike Rossetti (Treasurer)

Budget has been submitted

New radio request won’t necessarily get funded, and office supply budget will likely go lower b/c we haven’t used up most of what we were given this year.

Also put in for 2 more CPR instructors but this will have to get used up by Oct 15.

Check for the new radios has not been cut yet.

Jay Preciado (Exec VP)

Sweatshirt order has been placed – they will be here the week after spring break.

Jackets are on their way.

Regina Cummings (Training)

Regina regales the group with exciting student teaching stories upon her arrival.

EMT school is going well for our 5 members in the class.

Possibility to mail the remaining CPR cards that haven’t been picked up yet.

Waiting for CPR cards from the recent classes

CPR instructor class should get organized soon

Can ask for people who want to attend at the next meeting.

Should be a freshman or sophomore

New members wanting to go to summer EMT classes can see Regina for training fund request forms.

Regina will be here over spring break and will keep her radio on or will take care of calling us out of service.

Tom Pagnotta (Equipment)

Ordered supplies and received a confirmation email

Pennington Road took care of filling our O2 tanks for us recently.

            Thankyou!

We need to order cold packs and heat packs – will open an account with Moore Medical because they seem to have higher quality stuff than the ones we have now.

Will invest in some bins to organize the closet.

George Apostolopoulos (Deputy Chief)

Sunday – Kevin demonstrated how to program the radios

George’s radio is nearly fixed. It now thinks it is a cell phone.

Our CC radios will have the LifeCom channels in addition to our dispatch/OPS channels

Will talk to Scott to pick the right channels for our radios

Standby for George Carlin can get organized at a future date.

Jess already briefly talked to Tim Asher

Standbys are going well except for some monumental difficulty in getting the up to date schedule and correct times from the club standby people in a timely fashion

Will email Deb Simpson (cc Holly) to try and get things straightened out

Tom Paulmann (Publicity)

New copy of emergency flyer passed out

Will be color, laminated, hung by phones in dorms/academic buildings

Modify text to indicate that people should say where they are calling from, especially if they are on a cell phone, and the “this phone” should say “campus phone”

Discussion ensues about the various characteristics of the flyer

Photo page has been updated

Business cards coming soon
