What roles do student research assistants (PSY390/PSY492)
have in the Memory and Aging Lab?
Students are involved in:
- Helping design research studies
- Recruiting older adults from the community
- Collecting data (running participants)
- Analyzing data (with training!)
- Reading current research on memory
- Weekly meetings to discuss our research
Advanced 492 students may also:
- Implement their own studies
- Co-author manuscripts
- Manage the lab

for the Memory and Aging Lab!
We're always looking for:
- Volunteers
- Enrollment in PSY390 or PSY 492
Qualifications:
Although not all of these courses are required, the more of them you have taken, the better your learning experience will be.
- Must have completed Introduction to Psychology (PSY101)
- Must have completed Methods and Tools (PSY121)
- Cogntive Psychology (PSY214) (Preferred)
- Design and Analysis (PSY203) (Preferred)
- GPA of 3.0 or better
