How much have I borrowed? Where is my loan? What is the name of my lender? If you have ever asked any of these questions, read on!
The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) is the Department of Education's central database for student aid. It receives data from schools, agencies that guarantee loans, the Pell Grant program and other U.S. Department of Education programs. NSLDS provides a centralized view of Federal loans and Pell grants that are tracked through their entire cycle.
You can use this website to view your Federal Loan and/or Pell grant amounts, outstanding balances, loan status and disbursements. Access this site at: http://www.nslds.ed.gov.
