About
What is this?

This is probably the fourth or fifth iteration of my site. The first few were experimentations in HTML and rudimentary blogging. From there I’ve evolved to a more modern setup. TCNJ currently has no decent database solution (i.e. MySQL) so until recently, using a content management system like Wordpress was impossible. But my perpetual frustrations with Blogger, TCNJ, and my miserly determination to not use paid hosting drove me to keep looking for a solution. The culmination of months of slow Google-searching and experimentation has led me to this point.
Who am I?
I am a Mechanical Engineer at the College of New Jersey, and if all goes well I should also have a minor in Physics too when I graduate. On campus, I am on the Board of Directors for WTSR, a student run radio station in the School of Arts and Communication at TCNJ. I am also a part of the Order of the Golden Lion, a group that does medieval reenactments and crafts.
Hobbies?
I am first and foremost a technology enthusiast, if you will. Nerd, if you must. I build computers, dabble in all sorts of computer fields like programming and graphic design, and follow technology and industry developments religiously. I can’t definitively answer which I like better: Windows or Mac, both have their perks (But Apple Engineering is gorgeous).
I love family vacations because that usually means photo-ops abound. I find photography a fun and interesting art, trying to push the limits of optics to capture something memorable. The background of my site is from a family trip to the Southwest corner of the United States, a sunset at the Grand Canyon.
I’ve played some tennis, done some fencing back in the day. Now the majority of my physical activity involves biking around campus (Everywhere is uphill from where I live, unfortunately…). I have a piano that I occasionally sit in front of, in the hopes that one day I’ll be able to play something proficiently. For now, I get by grinding out rough approximations of songs I like, mostly modern songs (Rock, Alternative). I’m not particularly a fan of classical-esque pieces if only because I was force fed them as a child at piano lessons.
License to kill?

Only if my opponent is armor-clad.
Contact
I’m hoping to get a contact form up, but in the mean time, you can address a message to [my last name + number]@tcnj.edu. That first part you get from the URL of the page: http://www.tcnj.edu/~moy5 (after the tilde). I’ll get a CAPTCHA system running eventually…
