Laura Amoriello is Adjunct Instructor of Piano at The College of New Jersey where she teaches:
- MUS 102: Keyboard Skills
She also teaches at Westminster Choir College of Rider University and The New School for Music Study.
Ms. Amoriello has performed with the Westminster Community Orchestra and in the Associated Music Teachers League of New York Young Musicians Concert at Weill Recital Hall. She is a former Rider Scholar and a recipient of both the Arthur Judson Scholarship for Piano and the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music Scholarship for Promise as an Inspirational Teacher. Ms. Amoriello is also a 2004 recipient of the Music Teachers National Association Student Achievement Recognition Award.
Ms. Amoriello is a member of the Student Committee of the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy. She is an active member of both the Music Teachers National Association and the South Jersey Music Teachers Association, where she operates an independent studio and performs frequently as a freelance accompanist. Ms. Amoriello has studied piano with Mary DeTurck, Ingrid Clarfield, and Dr. Timothy Shafer. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in college music pedagogy at Teachers College, Columbia University.
