Dr. Susan C. Guerrini is the Coordinator of Music Education at The College of New Jersey. Currently, she teaches:
- MUS 392: Contemporary Issues in Music Education
- MUS 490: Student Teaching Music
- MUS 492: Student Teacher Seminar
Previously she was the Chair of the Music Education program at Rutgers University. Prior to her collegiate career, Dr. Guerrini was a Music Education specialist teaching in the New Jersey public schools for many years.
Dr. Guerrini received a Ph.D. degree in Music Education from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her articles have appeared in various national publications and she has presented research and workshops on the state, regional, national, and international levels. In July of 2006 she presented new research at the International Society for Music Educators, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This July, she presented two different studies in Bologna, Italy to members of the International Society for Music Educators . Dr. Guerrini’s area of focus is on vocal accuracy among singers and promoting teaching excellence among students of Music Education.
