Wind Ensemble Events:
A Seminar on Reed Making and Adjusting
January 16, 2010
Join us for a seminar on making and adjusting single and double reeds. There will be separate clinics for each instrument: clarinet, oboe, bassoon, and saxophone. Each seminar will be presented by a TCNJ woodwind faculty member. The clinicians include Roger McKinney (clarinet), David Schneider (oboe), Dennis MacMullin (bassoon) and Kathy Mitchell (saxophone).

Concerto Competition
Audition: January 10, 2010

The high school Concerto Competition will give two high school students the opportunity to perform a solo with the TCNJ Wind Ensemble. This year, the concerto competition is open to clarinet and horn players.

Honors Music Day
March 15, 2010
High school students who are nominated by their school music teachers will spend a day participating in ensembles directed by TCNJ faculty. The Honors Music Day will feature three ensembles: band, choir, and orchestra. The students who are accepted into an ensemble will spend a full day rehearsing at the College of New Jersey and will perform a concert at 7:00 pm that evening.
