New Jersey is a peninsula. Highlands, New Jersey has the highest elevation along the eastern seaboard, from Maine to Florida. New Jersey is the only state where all counties are classified as metropolitan areas. New Jersey has more race horses than Kentucky, more Cubans in Union City (1 sq. mi.) than Havana, Cuba, and the most dense systems of highways and railroads in the US.

Forgetta about it.........New Jersey has the most diners in the world and is some times referred to as the Diner Capital of the World. New Jersey also has the most shopping malls in one area in the world, seven major shopping malls is a 25 sq. mi. radius

Speakin' about historic landmarks, New Jersey is home to the frikin' Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Guess who also built the first tunnel under a river, and the Hudson ain't no ordinary river. Oh! I almost forgot to mention the first skyway highway too. The Passaic River was the site of the first submarine ride by inventor John P. Holland The light bulb, phonograph and motion projector were invented by Thomas Edison in his Menlo Park, NJ laboratory.

New Jersey has 50+ resort cities & towns, some of the nations' most famous including Atlantic City which has the longest board walk in the world and the even based a famous game that uses all of its street names on the playing board (Monopoly).
