Mechanical:
Prior to the beginning of Spring break all necessary components for the new frame had been ordered and where scheduled to arrive during the break so that construction of the new frame could be completed upon the team's return to school.

Software:
An interface for the Canon digital camera has been completed, which allows Matlab to operate the camera autonomously.  Work has also been done on building an image database in order to aid in the image processing developement.

Hardware:
The new uPatch100 GPS unit, generously donated by Fastrax, has been successfully wired up and tested.  The GPS code still needs to be adapted in order to operate successfully with the new unit.

Fundraising:
The "New Jersey Engineering" T-shirts are once again available for purchase.  Shirts are $10 each and various sizes are still available, please ask one of the team members about them if you are interested in purchasing one.


Welcome to the website of the NJ Autonomous Vehicle. The 2006 team is currently working on the vehicle for entry in the 2006 IGVC competition in Michigan, sponsored by Oakland University. The team consists of three seniors from The College of New Jersey, located in Ewing, NJ. It is overseen by two full-time faculty advisors.
