Vision Testing
Vision testing was performed today using flour to simulated painted white lines.

Initial Vision Testing
The vision and line detection system was tested on grass for the first time using strips of white paper. The vehicle successfully identified and avoided the lines.

GPS Testing
The compass and GPS were tested and work well. Their integration into the path planning was also successful. The vehicle is able to navigate to specified waypoints.

3.22.2007
Obstacle Testing
All obstacle tests have been completed. Both single obstacles and switchbacks were tested. A modification was made to include shorter arcs in the path planning. Once this adjustment was made, the vehicle successfully navigated these obstacles with ease.

3.2.2007
Detailed Test Plan
The team has created a detailed test plan that will be completed to verify that all systems are funcitonal. Also, this plan will ensure that we are able to compete in the IGVC in June.

Team Meeting
The SICK LMS is working and has been coupled with the remaining hardware and software. Also, several smaller projects have been completed.
