Leeds Metropolitan University
Location: Leeds is one of the largest Universities in Great Britan, with over 40,000 students. The campus is broken into two distinct sections, Beckett Park in the sporting area of Headingley and the city center campus, located very near the major business, social, and health quarters in Leeds.

There is a wide choice of accommodation within walking distance or a short bus ride from University campuses and the city center.
The most popular choice of accommodation for many new students is university owned or managed halls or flats.
Kirkstall Brewery Student Residences
This new £17 million development provides study bedrooms and facilities, including a gymnasium, laundry and shop for over 1000 students. Special bus services are provided to both University campuses.
Sugarwell Court
Sugarwell court consists of self-catering flats which provide accommodation for 288 students. It is situated 1.5 miles from the city center.
If you say in self-catering accommodation, you will find that you can buy most kinds of food in Leeds. You can also eat in any of the university's refectories on campus, where hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks are served throughout the day. Meals are paid for in cash.

Leeds is geared to student needs and ofers a wide variety of facilities and activities. You will find a broad range of first-class events to suit every taste in sports, music and art.
The city offers a variety which is hard to beat, ranging from chamber music and jazz to folk festivals and rock.
Leeds' attractions also include the Grand Theater, the West Yorkshire Playhouse, the Northern Ballet, and the School of Contemporary dance.
As for the visual arts, the Leeds City Art Gallery stages major exhibitions. The University also has its own gallery.
