Location:Reading is the county town and seat of local government of the Royal County of Berkshire and is situated on the River Thames, 40 miles west of London and about 25 miles southeast of Oxford. London is easily reached from Reading (25 minutes by train), and the concert halls, theaters, art galleries and other attractions of the capital are readily available to students.

Housing: 

The Halls of Residence differ from each other in size and character but all are in walking distance of the campus, and provide a range of study, domestic and social facilities.   Most of rooms are single study-bedrooms with shared bathrooms and pantries.

Each hall has a library, common rooms, a television room and a laundry.   Each hall has a central dining room which serves three meals a day Monday to Friday and two meals a day at weekends.
