Universitá per Stranieri di Siena offers Italian language courses, from beginner to advanced, and Italian culture courses for students who have taken at least four semesters of Italian at the college level.
Regular Italian Language Courses
The course consists of 150 hours of lessons and take place over 10 weeks.
Advanced Courses in Italian Language
The courses have a duration of three months and are open to students attending the regular advanced language course hours and three courses in Italian culture.
Italian Culture Courses
Students enrolled in regular intermediate and advanced language courses may also attend Italian culture courses offered by the Faculty.

Housing:
Siena city-owned student residences and apartments are now made available to study abroad students. However, Italian students from the University of Siena are given priority. A list of available apartments within and outside the city walls is made available by the University's Assistance Office about a month prior to the start of each semester.

Special Notes:
Placement tests will be given upon arrival.
Housing other than limited city-owned residence and apartments must be arranged by the students by calling the owners directly at the phone numbers in the list provided by Assistance Office.
Meals are available at University canteens.
