Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) Program

  • Admissions test (e.g. GRE) is NOT required for applicants who meet either of the following criteria (all other applicants must take the Graduate Record Examination):
    • Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by NLN or CCNE with a GPA 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale
    • Achieved a grade of B or better on two graduate nursing courses taken, as a non-matriculated student, at TCNJ within the 2 academic years prior to or concurrent with application for matriculation. One of the two courses must be NURS 503 Advanced Pathophysiology
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an NLN or CCNE accredited institution
  • Successful completion of one undergraduate health assessment course (or approved equivalent)
  • Successful completion of one undergraduate statistics course
  • Pre-admission interview
  • CPR Certification
  • Drug Screening (Five-Panel, Non-DOT)
  • Adherence to The College's health requirements
  • License to practice as a registered nurse in the state of New Jersey (license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania may be recommended).
