Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Nurse Practitioner Programs
- Admissions test (e.g. GRE) is NOT required for applicants who
meet either of the following criteria:
- Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by NLN or CCNE with a GPA of greater than 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Achieved a grade of B or better on two graduate nursing courses taken, as a non-matriculated student, at TCNJ within the 2 academic years prior to or concurrent with application for matriculation. One of the two courses must be NURS 503 Advanced Pathophysiology.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an NLN or CCNE accredited institution
- Successful completion of one undergraduate health assessment course (or approved equivalent)
- Successful completion of one undergraduate statistics course
- Pre-admission interview
- CPR Certification
- Drug Screening (Five-panel, Non-DOT)
- Adherence to The College's health requirements
- License to practice as a registered nurse in the state of New Jersey (license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania may be recommended)
