Post Masters Family Nurse Practitioner Certification Programs for Specialty Nurse Practitioners

  • Master of Science in Nursing from an NLN or CCNE accredited institution
  • National and N.J. certification as Adult, Pediatric, Women's Health or other Nurse Practitioner. This program is designed for ANP, PNP and WHNP candidates; other candidates must meet with the chair of the graduate division to determine their required course of study
  • Pre-admission interview
  • CPR Certification
  • Drug Screening (Five-panel, Non-DOT)
  • Adherence to The College's health requirements
  • License to practice as a registered nurse in the state of New Jersey (license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania may be recommended)
  • Successful completion of a graduate level general pathophysiology course
  • Successful completion of a graduate level general pharmacology course within the five years prior to admission into the program
  • Successful completion of a graduate level health assessment course that includes content and laboratory/practical experiences related to all age groups and both genders
