Welcome to Holly Didi-Ogren's professional web page I am the coordinator for the Japanese Language Program at The College of New Jersey. I teach language courses at all levels, handle leaders for the Japanese conversation hours, and work with the Office of International and Off-Campus programs on study abroad in Japan and with the Japan Club for student events connected to Japan. If you would like to learn more about the Japanese Program at The College of New Jersey, please go to the "courses" page on this website, visit the Japanese Program, or contact me. I earned an M.A. in East Asian Languages and Cultures from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Anthropology - with a focus on Linguistic Anthropology - from the University of Texas at Austin. I have been teaching Japanese language and Japan-related courses full-time since 2001. I joined the The College of New Jersey faculty as a member of the Modern Languages Department in August, 2006.
