Look for the letter from Hogwarts and you'll know that it's time...
Every year The Order of the Nose-Biting Teacups is proud to reach out to new members. And where there are new members, that means there are sortings.
While the sorting of each year is up to the board, there are a few things we like to keep the same:
- We keep our sortings fair and take what you want into account.
- We try and keep our Houses fair so no one House has everyone.
- We also try to sort as soon as possible so you can get to know your House.
- While the board will make the final decision, Prefects review applications as well and give their input.
At the Sorting Ceremony Prefects will be asked to stand as names are called. Your new House will be announced and you will be able to go meet your Prefects. From then on, you belong to your House: they are your family, and you are an important member.
If you would like more information on being sorted feel free to contact us. The Sorting Ceremony occurs at the beginning of each Fall semester with a smaller one occuring at the beginning of the Spring semester for those not yet sorted. You do have the option to not be sorted (you can check with the board on what happens then), or to be sorted at any point in the semester besides when we have the Sorting Ceremony. If you feel your House does not fit you after a period of time you can contact the board to be reevaluated.
