The TCNJ Orchestra performs the very best music from the Symphonic Repertoire. Members of the orchestra, comprised of music majors and non-music majors, continually discover an inspiring musical environment in which they can grow and deepen as musicians.
The rehearsals are an opportunity for musicians to improve ensemble playing skills, instrumental technique, and to develop a rich and meaningful relationship with the repertoire.
In the concerts, all the hard work of the rehearsals transform into public celebrations! In the Fall 2011 Semester, the Orchestra will perform four concerts at venues in New Jersey and New York City. Concerts will include immensely exciting repertoire such as Mahler’s First Symphony and Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
