School of Business to host 2nd Annual Dean's Alumni Networking Night
EWING, NJ ... The School of Business at The College of New Jersey is hosting its 2nd Annual Dean’s Alumni Networking Night on Thursday, May 8th from 6-8:30 PM in the Rathskeller at the Student Center. The event offers the opportunity for School of Business alumni to reconnect with each other, the faculty and the School of Business Advisory Board, whose members represent a broad cross section of some of the finest companies in the accounting, healthcare, marketing and financial services fields.
Interim Dean Jack Kirnan will provide an update on the considerable progress and momentum that the School of Business has recently gained. This year, BusinessWeek selected the school among the Best 96 Undergraduate Business Schools in the country, one of only three NJ schools to earn that distinction and the only school in the survey catering exclusively to undergraduate education. Moreover, the placement rates and starting salaries for recent graduates have been among the highest in NJ and the country at large.
Kirnan will also discuss a number of key strategic initiatives to help guide the future, including the new Target 2000 campaign aiming to raise awareness among alumni. The campaign hopes to garner the School of Business even more support from alumni, helping it to continue delivering high quality business education.
