Forbes ranks TCNJ best NJ public college
EWING, NJ … The College of New Jersey is the best public school in the state, according to Forbes.
And it’s only getting better: TCNJ climbed to #285 on the business magazine’s annual list of 500 top colleges and universities, making a notable improvement on its 2009 ranking (#310).
Compiled with research from the Center for College Affordability & Productivity, Forbes’ list includes the “best public and private colleges and universities, from the student’s point of view.” It reflects both the quality of education at the ranked institutions and the experiences and achievements of students.
Princeton University garnered the title of best in New Jersey (public and private), ranking #2 overall, while Rutgers University, Stevens Institute of Technology, and Seton Hall University led the remainder of New Jersey schools on the list at #366, 403, and 438, respectively.
